The Reservation Centre, Special Events, Conference, Food and Beverages Services, and Parking Services all work together seamlessly to offer our clientele an optimal planning service that best meets the varying needs of conference planners. Our conference service expertise is strongly represented when handling the logistics for events of all types from high-end receptions, arts exhibits, film festivals, to international conferences.

Hospitality Concordia is proud to host an average of 3,500 meetings and events per year. The mission of our dedicated team of professionals is to offer a memorable experience to all our guests through our services, which include:

• managing the University’s centralized reservation systems;
• advising clients and handling the reservation of on- and off-campus event spaces;
• coordinating room set-ups and furniture rentals;
• collaborating with catering services to create personalized menu and theme events;
• coordinating the usage of audiovisual equipment and the hiring of on-site technicians;
• liaising and supervising internal and external service providers;
• contracting and supervising event staff as required;
• guiding clients through University policies and procedures to ensure the safety of the community in collaboration with the Security Office and Environmental Health and Safety;
• coordinating alcohol requests and permits;
• reserving overnight accommodations and negotiating preferred group rates;
• overseeing logistical on-site coordination;
• recommending an array of activities to help develop the spouse program and childcare; and
• managing event budgets and centralizing all related charges.
